Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health authorities throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.
A male was spoken with by department officers about unlawfully importing and subsequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines through the internet.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its office, Peter Moore, stated: „It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be dangerous.
„These types of products being offered, typically online, have gone through no quality control and there can be no warranty about their safety.
„You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the impact drugs like this may have on your health.“
