Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have actually been seized by Department of Health authorities during a search of a home in Glengormley.
A guy was talked to by department officers about unlawfully importing and consequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications by means of the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offences.
He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its office, Peter Moore, stated: „It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be harmful.
„These types of items being sold, usually online, have gone through no quality control and there can be no assurance about their safety.
„You merely do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More significantly, you do not understand the result drugs like this may have on your health.“
