Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health authorities during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A man was spoken with by department officers about importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications by means of the web.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: „It is crucial that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be harmful.
„These kinds of products being offered, generally online, have undergone no quality control and there can be no assurance about their security.
„You merely do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the impact drugs like this may have on your health.“
